Faith-Based Awards 
All Grade Levels
Girls can learn what their faith and Girl Scouting have in common through earning faith-based awards, including the My Promise, My Faith pin, and Religious Recognitions. You can earn the My Promise, My Faith pin once a year, every year you are in Girl Scouts.
Community Service Bars
Cadette, Senior, Ambassador
Community Service Bars are earned by making a difference in the community and practicing Girl Scout values by volunteering at least 20 hours for an organization. You should record all the hours you volunteer to share with your Troop Leader, who can purchase the Community Service Bar once you complete it. Learn more in The Girl Scout Handbook.
Service to Girl Scouting Bars
Cadette, Senior, Ambassador
Service to Girl Scouting Bars are earned by volunteering at least 20 hours for the Girl Scouts. You might volunteer your time for a special event for younger girls, be an office assistant for your council or service unit, or help with special projects. You should record all the hours you volunteer to share with your troop leader, who can purchase the Service to Girl Scouting Bar once you complete it. Learn more in The Girl Scout Handbook.
Journey Summit Awards
All Grade Levels
The Journey Summit Award Pin is earned by girls who have completed
three National Leadership Journeys at their grade level. The colored
border around each pin corresponds to their grade level. This award
can be earned by girls in all program levels: Daisy, Brownie, Junior,
Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador. This is the highest award that a Girl
Scout Daisy and a Girl Scout Brownie can earn.

Junior Aide
Junior
To earn this mentoring award, Junior Girl Scouts work with Daisies or Brownies over three (3) activity sessions. Learn more in the Girl Scout Handbook.
Program Aide
Cadette
This award is earned by completing our council's program aide training course and assisting younger girls by sharing your skills, passion, and experience over the course of six activity sessions. Learn more in The Girl Scout Handbook.
Global Action Award
All Grade Levels
The Girl Scout Global Action Award calls for girls to address the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals by discovering, connecting, and taking action in their communities and the world. There are two sets of content: one for younger Girl Scouts (Daisy, Brownie, Juniors) and one for older Girl Scouts (Cadette, Senior, Ambassador). The Global Action Award is an official national award, so Girl Scouts can wear it on their vest or sash. Learn more about the Global Action Award.
Leader in Action
Cadette
Cadette Girl Scouts earn your Leader in Action (LiA) award by assisting a Brownie group on any of their National Leadership Journeys. To earn a LiA, you’ll share your organizational skills, use one of your special talents (such as creating and demonstrating a science experiment or craft), teach Brownies something important from their Journey (such as making healthy snacks or getting exercise), and reflect on your experience.

Counselor in Training
Seniors and Ambassadors
This award is earned by experienced campers by combining their love
for the outdoors with their leadership skills and goals. Learn more

Volunteer in Training
Seniors and Ambassadors
This award is earned by mentoring younger Girl Scouts outside of the camp experience. Your VIT project should span a three-to-six-month period.
- Find a mentor volunteer who is currently the adult volunteer for a group of girls at the level you'd like to work with. This volunteer will help you through your training/internship and you'll help the volunteer with her group of girls for the three to six-month period.
- Complete a council-assigned VIT training on gsLearn. Click here to fill out the form to access gsLearn trainings.
- Create and implement a thoughtful program based on a Journey or badge that lasts over four or more sessions. Be responsible for designing, planning, and evaluating the activities. If you're passionate about a topic like are or STEM you could design the activities around the areas that you love or in which you have expertise.

Torch Award
Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors
This award is given to a Girl Scout who is a leader in her
community. To earn the Torch Award, a Girl Scout must complete one
Leadership Journey and serve a full term in a leadership position at
her school, place of worship, library, community center, or other
organization that is important to her. Learn more in The

Cookie Entrepreneur Family Pin
All Grade Levels
All girls who participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program are eligible to earn the annual Cookie Entrepreneur Family Pin, which they earn by developing essential business skills.
Medal of Honor
All Grade Levels
This award is given to a girl who has shown presence of mind and true Girl Scout spirit, saving a life or attempting to save a life without risk to the candidate’s own life.
Recognition may be given to any registered Girl Scout from 5 through 17 years of age, where evidence presented in accordance with prescribed regulations shows that she saved or attempted to save a life under circumstances that indicate heroism or risk of her own life. Recognition cannot be given to anyone who was in any way the cause of or contributory to the incident or where it appears that the risk involved was merely in the performance of duty or in meeting an obligation.
Applications for Lifesaving Awards must be requested within 60 days of the incident and submitted within six months after the accident occurred. Contact Customer Care to request an application.

This award is given to a girl who has shown extraordinary heroism, saving a life or attempting to save a life with risk to the candidate’s own life.

World Thinking Day Award
All Grade Levels
Every year, Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the world celebrate February 22 as a day of international friendship called World Thinking Day. To earn this award, Girl Scouts will explore the theme's meaning and plan and carry out a Take Action project that makes a difference. There are two sets of content: one for younger Girl Scouts (Daisy, Brownie, Juniors) and one for older Girl Scouts (Cadette, Senior, Ambassador).
