Building Sisterhood Through STEM
Troop 44436 recently decided to share the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) with their Girl Scout sisters. The Junior troop worked with Daisy Troop 4515 to complete the Think Like an Engineer Journey. During their time together, the older girls led three different design challenges for the younger girls, including designing and building a fairy house, figuring out how to cross a canyon, and constructing an air-powered car. It was a fun experience for all the girls involved, and Troop 44436 especially enjoyed putting their leadership and STEM skills to use to help their sisters build confidence.
