Where and when will this event take place?
This event will occur on August 17, 2024, from 5 - 9 p.m. at Camp Whip Poor Will in Morrow, Ohio.
Who can attend?
Registered Girl Scouts enrolled in 6 - 7 grade for the upcoming school year (2024-2025) are welcome to attend.
All registered Girl Scout volunteers who work with 6-8 grade girls are welcome to attend.
I'm a Girl Scout from another council. Can I still register?
Absolutely! We welcome Girl Scouts from all over to join us for Camp Cadette!
I am a registered volunteer who would like to attend this event. My child is unable to attend. Can I still register?
Absolutely! This event is just as much for the girls as for the adult volunteers. Adults do not need a girl in attendance to come to Camp Cadette.
Is this a day event or an overnight event?
Camp Cadette is an evening event running from 5 - 9 p.m. Girl Scouts are welcome to come as early as 2 p.m. to explore the camp before the start of the event.
Can my troop stay at Camp Whip Poor Will?
For troops who would like to spend the night after the event, the facilities listed below will be available to reserve for the standard troop rate on Checkfront on a first-come, first-served basis. These reservations are NOT associated with Camp Cadette; troops must follow facility reservation guidelines.
